The Work Diary provides a comprehensive record of your logged hours and is used to calculate your weekly payments. From this view, you can also review the screenshots captured during your tracked time.
Important Considerations
Permanent Deletion: Deleted screenshots and their associated time blocks cannot be recovered. Once removed, they are permanently purged from our system.
Billing Limits: Any time logged beyond a contract’s weekly limit will appear in the Work Diary but will not be billed to the client.
Time Removal: Deleting a screenshot also removes the corresponding 10-minute segment of tracked time from your billable total.
When You Can Delete Time
You may delete tracked time and Work Diary notes only if the following conditions are met:
Active Contract: The contract must currently be open.
Current Workweek: The time must have been logged during the current billing period.
Before Deadline: Deletions must be completed before UTC midnight on Sunday of the current workweek.
Limitations
Locked Weeks: Screenshots from previous workweeks are locked and cannot be deleted.
Manual Time: You cannot retroactively add manual time to previous workweeks once the billing cycle has closed.
How to Delete Time
Open the goMeter app and select View Work Diary
- Log in to your account
- Hover over the screenshot or time block you want to delete
Click on the checkbox next to an individual screenshot, or click 'Select All' to select all screenshots for that hour. To delete the entire day, select the checkbox next to the date.
Confirm the action by clicking on Delete
Deleting time from your Work Diary helps ensure your logged hours are accurate before the weekly billing period closes.
