Badge System Guide
Overview
The Badge System recognizes freelancer skills through HuAI-powered assessments. Badges are awarded automatically based on your assessment performance and remain visible on your profile as long as they meet validity requirements. This ensures clients can quickly see your verified competencies.
How to Earn a Badge?
Maintaining Your Badge
- You must have at least 15 valid tests in a category for the badge to remain active.
- When tests expire, your tier can be maintained, downgraded, or the badge deactivated.
- Renewal - You'll receive a email to retake expired tests to restore or upgrade your badge.
Viewing Your Badges
Go to Skill Assessments > Skills Validated to see:
- Active badges and tiers
- Number of valid tests
- Expiring tests with “Renew Now” links
- Progress for incomplete badges
How Clients See Your Badges
Each badge displays:
- Skill category
- Tier (Expert, Proficient, Regular)
- Tests completed
Only active badges are shown on your profile. Inactive badges are hidden from clients but remain visible to you with renewal options.
Notifications
You will receive:
- 30-day reminders before a test expires
- Tier change alerts if a badge is downgraded
- Achievement notifications when upgrading to a higher tier
