How to Close Your goLance Account
We’re sorry to see you go. Before deleting your account, please follow the steps below to ensure everything is completed properly.
Before You Delete Your Account
1. Close All Active Work
Before deleting your account, you must close any active items:
- Active contracts
- Open jobs
- Active companies
Make sure:
- All work has been delivered
- Your clients are satisfied
- You have completed all outstanding obligations
2. Leave Feedback
If you have not already done so, leave feedback for clients or freelancers you worked with.
Providing feedback helps maintain trust within the goLance community and allows future users to make informed decisions.
3. Save Your Information
Before deleting your account:
- Download any files or data you may need.
Once your account is deleted, all information will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to delete your profile:
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the page
Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Click Delete to start the account deletion process
Important
- You must complete all active contracts, jobs, and companies before deleting your account
- Make sure you have saved all important information
- Once deleted, your account and all associated data will be permanently erased
