goLance allows clients to create scheduled payments for freelancers on a weekly or monthly basis. This is useful for long-term or ongoing work arrangements where you want payments to be processed automatically.
How Scheduled Payments Work
Scheduled payments allow clients to automatically pay a fixed amount to a freelancer at recurring intervals.
You can configure payments to be:
- Weekly
- Bi-weekly
- Monthly
Once enabled:
- Payments are automatically funded
- Payments are automatically approved
- Payments are automatically released to the freelancer
Important
Scheduled payments do not include a review period.
This feature is recommended for freelancers you trust and work with regularly.
How to Enable Scheduled Payments
Create a Recurring Payment contract with your freelancer
Select:
- The Payment Cycle (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
- The payment amount for each scheduled payment
Save your changes
Once configured, payments will be processed automatically based on the schedule you selected.
Important Notes
- Scheduled payments are automatic and do not require manual approval
- There is no review period before funds are released
- Make sure you are comfortable with the payment schedule before enabling it
