If you’re looking to fill a position, goLance makes it quick and easy to create a job post in just a few minutes.
Once you’ve logged into your account, simply click the “Post Job” button located in the top-right corner of the page to get started.
Next, select who you’ll be posting the job on behalf of. If you haven’t created a company profile yet, we recommend setting one up first to ensure a more professional and organized hiring experience.
If you haven’t completed your company culture assessment yet, we recommend doing so, as it helps match you with candidates who align with your team’s values and working style.
You can also skip this step for now by clicking the “Next” button in the bottom-right corner.
Our system will now present you with options for creating your job post. You can start from scratch, use an AI-generated template, or reuse a job you’ve posted previously.
One of the most popular options is the AI-generated template. To use it, simply provide a brief description of the role you’re looking to fill, select your preferred freelancer location, and choose whether to make the job post public or private.
After clicking “Next” at the bottom of the page, you’ll be taken to Step 2. Based on your description, the AI will automatically suggest a category and subcategory for your job post, which you can edit at any time.
You’ll also need to select the job type—Hourly or Fixed Price. For hourly contracts, be sure to specify the expected number of hours per week, along with an estimated hourly rate or rate range.
For fixed-price jobs, simply enter your estimated budget. You’ll also have the option to create additional milestones after the contract has been set up, allowing you to break the project into manageable phases.
Once you’ve entered all the required details, click the “Generate” button, and the AI will create your job post in just a few seconds.
Once the job post has been generated, you’ll be able to review, edit, and add any missing details by clicking the pencil icon on the far right of each section.
To help you find the right talent, we recommend using skill tests. The AI will automatically suggest three tests based on your job post, but you can modify them as needed.
You can browse through a wide variety of recommended tests and add any that best fit your job requirements.
Finally, click “Post Job.” Once our team reviews and approves it, your job post will go live.
After it’s posted, you can easily manage and review your listings from the Jobs Manager tab.
