After reviewing your freelancer’s Work Diary, if you believe a dispute and refund are necessary, please log into your goLance account, navigate to the Jobs Manager tab, and select the contract you would like to dispute. Then, click on the contract name to proceed.
By clicking the three dots on the far right, you’ll see options to Pause or Close the contract.
- Pausing the contract prevents the freelancer from tracking additional time until the dispute is resolved.
- Closing the contract permanently ends it.
You can still open a dispute even after the contract has been closed or paused.
Please note that you may dispute work diary entries for both the current week and the previous week. However, once the review period for a given work diary has ended, this option is no longer available.
The work diary review period runs from Monday through Friday morning and is intended to give clients time to review their freelancers’ activity and dispute any logged time if necessary.
You can easily select an entire week, a specific day, an hour, or individual 10-minute screenshots by checking the corresponding boxes. To proceed, you’ll need to provide details explaining the reason for the dispute.
Once you have completed all the steps you may click Open Dispute at the bottom of the page.
Our internal team will review your submission, and if necessary, we may reach out for additional information.
If you need any further guidance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team via the goLance chatbot.
