goPoints is goLance's loyalty program that rewards freelancers for receiving payments through the platform. You can use your points to book hotels, flights, and other travel experiences.
Who Can Earn goPoints?
goPoints are earned automatically by freelancers when they receive payments through goLance. There is no need to enroll in the program.
You earn points for payments received from both:
- Hourly contracts
- Fixed-price contracts
Only payments processed through goLance contracts qualify for goPoints.
How Do I Earn goPoints?
Your earning rate depends on your Loyalty Status, which is based on the total contract payments you've received during the previous 12 months.
| Status | Payments Received (Last 12 Months) | Earn Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Default | $1 = 0.5 points |
| Level 2 | $5,000+ | $1 = 0.6 points |
| Level 3 | $10,000+ | $1 = 0.8 points |
Example
If you are Level 3 and receive a $100 payment, you'll earn 80 goPoints.
Your Loyalty Status is recalculated automatically every Sunday at 2:00 AM UTC based on your earnings over the previous 12 months.
