In order to post a job, you will need a client account. Follow this link to sign up. If you have a freelancer account and want to post a job, you should create a client account.
- Log into your account and in the top right hand corner of the screen you will see, "Hire"/ "Post a Job"
Post Job: Lets you publicly post a job where applicants can see and apply.
Hire: Allows you to create a job and send an offer immediately to the freelancer on or off of the goLance platform. This is a good option if you already know who you would like to hire. To learn more read our article on: Hiring Immediately.
- Click on "Post Job" and fill in the relevant information about the position.
- If you have posted a job before, you can use that post as a template for the current post. If you have not posted a job before, you can leave this blank.
- We recommend that you add an attachment like a logo to attract high-quality freelancers.

Move on to the next page and select the category that the job fits into. This will help freelancers find your job.

Choose between an hourly rate contract or a fixed cost contract and then fill in the relevant information based on the contract you have chosen.
Hourly: Hourly contracts are based on a client and freelancer agreeing on an hourly rate during the interview process, then having the freelancer log their working hours in the goLance goMeter desktop application.
Fixed: Instead of working on an hourly basis and logging hours to the goMeter desktop application, fixed-price contracts work based on one or more payment milestones. Payments of milestones can be set up for certain times during a project.

Move on to the next page and then choose where you want your freelancer to be located.

Select the role's relevant skills and ask any questions that you would like your freelancer to answer before reviewing their application.

Move on to the next page where you can review your job post information and choose who you would like to hire on behalf of. Is it yourself or a company that you own/ are a hiring manager of?

If you have different teams, you can add this job to one and when hired, the candidate will automatically be added to the team.

Finally, decide if you want your job to be public or private.
Private Job Post: You can send a private job post link to any candidate. Only candidates with the link can apply to the job.
Public Job Post: This will make your job post publicly available for any freelancer to apply to.
